Framingham High Hoops Star Clears 1K Point Mark

FRAMINGHAM, MA — It was a huge night for the Framingham Flyers on Friday. Not only did they cruise to a blowout win over Newton South, but a senior captain cleared a major milestone.

Selina Monestime recorded a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals. Those 11 points cleared her of the 1,000-point milestone, a massive achievement. She is the first Flyer in over a decade to reach the mark.

Katie Regan led the Flyers with 17 points, five assists and five rebounds. Allie Regan recorded 13 points with eight steals.
