Framingham Man Allegedly Kicked Woman In Stomach, Threw Ashtray
A homeless Framingham man is facing charges after police say he kicked a woman in the stomach, threw an ashtray and destroyed property.

FRAMINGHAM, MA—A homeless man from Framingham is facing several charges after police say he assaulted a woman when she insisted he leave her home.
Around 4:48 p.m. on Oct. 28, police were called to 154 Union Ave., Apt. 18, where an assault had reportedly just happened. One of the victims, a woman, told police that Richard Brown had hit her head against the wall, kicked her in the stomach and threw an ashtray at her hard enough to cause a hole in the wall.
The victim knows Brown as "Blue," and said he was recently released from prison and had been coming to the apartment numerous times in the past few days, and tried to sell crack from the apartment. The victim told police she told Brown to leave, and he got angry, grabbed her hair and pushed her face into the corner of the wall. A friend also told Brown to leave, said police, after which Brown allegedly threw the ashtray.

The victim appeared to be bruising on her forehead, said police.
Brown allegedly ran out of the apartment after the attack and took off on his bike.

Police found Brown riding his bike near the Framingham One Stop, where he was arrested.
Brown, 58, homeless, Framingham, was arrested and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property over $1,200.
