Framingham Man Faces Drug Trafficking Charge

The charge stems from a traffic stop in Framingham over the weekend.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A local man was arraigned Monday on a drug trafficking charge, police said.

On Friday around 11:30 p.m., police conducted a routine traffic stop in the area of Waverly Street and South Street, officials said.

The driver had an active warrant, police said, and officials found 44.5 grams of crack cocaine.

The 41-year-old Framingham man was placed under arrest and has been charged with cocaine trafficking of 36 grams or more and one relating to his warrant.
