Framingham Man Threatens Woman With Hammer For Driving Too Slow, 7 Crashes, and Police Called to Framingham High and Fuller Middle

Friday, April 10: 3 arrests and 7 crashes

​12:17 a.m. Group reported at 357 Union Ave. Framingham Police advised.

12:51 a.m. Medical assistance requested at 100 State St. Learned Hall Room 232. Framingham Fire transported individual.

1:34 a.m. Motor vehicle investigation at Route 126 and Clark Street.

1:45 a.m. Police arrested at Clark Street Salina Tofani, 33, of 10 Centennial Place, Apt 2 of Framingham. Charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspended, 2nd or subsequent offense, operating a motor vehicle with equipment issues and operating a motor vehicle with no inspection sticker.

7:09 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at 26 Whittier St. Tow needed.

8;35 a.m. Juvenile problem reported at Framingham High, 115 A St.

8:42 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Franklin and Main streets.

9:01 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at 750 Winter St. (caller said crash happened on April 9 at 4:30 p.m.)

11:54 a.m. Police investigation at Fuller Middle School, 31 Flagg Dr.

11:58 a.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Rout 9 and Route 30. No injuries.

12:15 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at 240 Worcester Rd. Airbags deployed. Framingham Fire en route. Tow needed.

2:28 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Marshalls, 1 Worcester Road.

2:42 p.m. Medical assistance at 1881 at Advocates, 1881 Worcester Rd.

3:19 p.m. Disturbance reported at MetroWest Medical Center, 115 Lincoln St. Framingham Police assisted.

4:17 p.m. Medical assistance requested at Dunkin Donuts, 266 Concord Street. Framingham Fire transported one.

4:19 p.m. Medical assistance requested at the Mary Dennison Playground - basketball court. Framingham Fire transported one.

4:26 p.m. Shoplifter reported at Target.

6:03 p.m. Fight reported at Salvation Army, 35 Concord Street.

7:03 p.m. Suspicious activity reported at Gianni’s, 861 Edgell Rd.

7:03 p.m. Police arrested at Gianni’s Miguel Catala, 62, of 11 Edmands Rd of Framingham. Charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Police said Catala pulled into the Gianni‘s parking lot and threatened a woman with a hammer. According to police, he was unhappy the woman was driving too slow. Photo courtesy of Framingham Police.

7:44 p.m. Motor vehicle crash reported at Concord and Mechanic Street. No injuries.

7:44 p.m. Police arrested at 376 Hollis Street Sarahjean Casarano, 50, of 376 Hollis St. Apt 4 of Framingham. Charged with possession of a Class C drug with intent to distribute, Charged with possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute, subsequent offense.
