Framingham Man Who Drove Through Provincetown Yelling Homophobic Slurs Charged: Police
These charges are unrelated to an assault that happened on June 30, which is still under investigation.
PROVINCETOWN, MA — Three people face charges of disorderly conduct after police on Cape Cod said they drove through a community yelling homophobic slurs out of a car window.
Ryan Mahimtura, 19, of Framingham, Henry Ward, 19, of Hudson, and a minor, also of Hudson, have all been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct stemming from July 1.
Provincetown police said the group allegedly "drove through town threateningly with air horns yelling homophobic slurs from their vehicle at several people."

Officials said additional charges may be filed in the case, but didn't state if they would be related to this event or another.
An alleged assault that occurred on June 30 in Provincetown is still being actively investigated.

The Provincetown Police Department said they became aware of a "possible hate crime" incident that occurred between 1 and 2 a.m. that morning.
The victim stated he was on Bradford Street in the area of Howland Street in the east end of Provincetown when multiple people got out of a vehicle and "attacked" them, police said.
Police said the victim said the suspects’ vehicle was a black Lexus sedan, and the three men are between the ages of 20 and 30 who used a homophobic slur during the altercation.
Police are asking those in the area of Howland Street to check any security or doorbell cameras they may have between the early morning hours of 1 and 2 a.m. on June 30.
