FRAMINGHAM, MA — Without community leaders, Framingham Patch wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

He was a student in our program

What does this community leader do?

He is the founding pastor of Goodness Ministries in Framingham. He and his wife, Dr. Patricia Elisnord-Ehiabhi, have been active members of their home churches for 15 + years. Pastor Osita has ministered the gospel in an international capacity and has pastored churches in Nigeria and the United States. He accepted God’s call to ordained ministry in 2000 while living in Nigeria.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

He is a recent graduate of Hebrew SeniorLife’s Clinical Pastoral Education program in Boston which provides geriatric-focused spiritual care training for seminary students of many faiths, future clergy seeking spiritual care skills, and aspiring or current health care chaplains. Hebrew SeniorLife is proud to offer the country’s only Jewish geriatric CPE program accredited by ACPE: The Standard for Spiritual Care & Education.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

He leaves our program trained to support seniors and families through the joys and challenges of aging, loss, and end of life.
