Framingham Planning Board Seeks Applicants

FRAMINGHAM, MA — There are "multiple" openings on the Framingham Planning Board that city officials are hoping to fill.

Applicants have been asked to apply for those positions, with a deadline for applications set for Sunday at 11:59 p.m. There is a full member seat than runs through June 30, 2027 available, as well as two seats through June 30, 2028.

The board usually meets on Thursday evenings at least twice a month.

"Applicants should be invested in the development and redevelopment of Framingham to ensure proper growth occurs by employing best practices in land use policies and zoning ordinances, provide a variety of housing options, work collaboratively with landowners and business owners on land use proposals and applications while maintaining a balance that provides for the preservation of open space and recreational opportunities," officials said, in a news release.
