Framingham Restaurant Blends Flavors Of New England And Mexico This Summer
From lobster queso to lobster tacos and a lobster roll, one Massachusetts restaurant group is expanding its offerings this summer.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — A local group of Mexican restaurants has debuted a new seasonal menu that blends the flavors of Mexico and New England.
This week, Margaritas Mexican Restaurant will debut a seasonal feature menu that's available at its four locations throughout the Bay State, including Framingham.
The menu features lobster-centric items and beverages from tequila forward to spiked Mexican cokes, restaurant officials said.

For food, the new menu features a trio of appetizer options: lobster queso, Margs’ famous queso topped with charred corn, jalapeños, scallions and sauteed lobster ($18.99); a lobster quesadilla stuffed to the gills with lobster meat, Margs’ Monterey Jack-cheddar blend, charred jalapeños and scallions finished with fresh cilantro and tomatoes, served with avocado crema, sour cream and salsa macha ($24.99); and lobster street nachos piled high with lobster, fresh tomatoes, garlic, a Monterey Jack-cheddar blend, charred jalapeños and scallions ($25.99).
Entrees will also lean into lobster, featuring a lobster roll with charred corn, jalapeños, scallions and Tajin aioli, spritzed with lime zest and served atop a bed of shredded lettuce with avocado crema, complete with Tajin fries and a Tajin aioli dipping sauce ($19.99); lobster tacos shelled in masa-dusted flour tortillas with avocado crema, charred jalapeños, scallions, lettuce and chili-lime lobster meat with house made salsa macha ($12.99 for one taco; $23.99 for two tacos; $32.99 for three tacos); and a flavor-bursting lobster salad with fresh spinach, pepitas, charred corn, pickled onions, queso fresco, sliced avocado and fried tortilla strips tossed in a chili-lime vinaigrette and topped with fresh lobster ($27.99).

The new bevarage menu inlcudes the frozen Mangonada with Hornitos Plata, mango and triple sec with a Tajin rim ($14); Watermelon Ranch Water with tequila blanco, mineral water, watermelon puree and fresh lime ($12.25); Batanga, a “grownup” soda, El Tri-style, with Hornitos Plata, Mexican Coke and fresh lime ($12); and Crystal Pineapple crafted with coconut 1800 Tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, hibiscus and lime juice with a toasted coconut rim ($13).
Margaritas has locations in Framingham, Northborough, Revere and Waltham.
