Framingham State Honors 2 Officers For Saving A Life

The two police officers were presented the University's Meritorious Service Award, for preventing a man from jumping from a Route 9 bridge.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Framingham State University Police Department honored two of its officers in a ceremony on Wednesday for preventing a man from jumping off a Route 9 bridge.

Framingham State University Police Chief Brad Medeiros presents University Police Officers Laurie Maguire and Shawn Deleskey with the University's Meritorious Service Award, for actions taken on October 20, 2015.

The two officers prevented a man from jumping off the Route 9 Framingham Centre foot bridge.
