Framingham State Softball Loses 15-14 to UMass Boston

The Framingham State University softball rallied for five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning but fell short as they were defeated 15-14 by the University of Massachusetts Boston in a non-conference softball game Thursday afternoon at Maple Street in Framingham.

With the victory the Beacons improve to 3-11 on the year, while the Rams dip to 8-12 with the loss.

The Rams are back in action Saturday when they travel to Westfield State for a Conference doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
