WORCESTER, MA — Worcester is about to be invaded by Framingham ... well, at least the baseball field, and it's not so sinister.
The Worcester Red Sox are set to host the latest edition of the team's Town Takeover events with Framingham front and center.
Framingham's takeover is scheduled for June 20 when the WooSox take on the Columbus Clippers.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and Framingham’s Nicole Herring, a member of the Greater Framingham Community Church, will sing the National Anthem.
Framingham Girl Scout Troop 70606 will present the colors during the National Anthem and Framingham Little League players will yell "PLAY BALL" to end pre-game ceremonies and signal the start of the game.
