Framingham Traffic Alert: Where to Expect Delays Driving This Week

Here's how to navigate the town streets the week of Jan. 9.

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Here's where to expect delays and roadwork as you drive through town following a snowy weekend.

First, the work continues in downtown Framingham at Concord and Hollis streets, where the town is installing signs and banner arms on the street light poles. Minor delays should be expected.

Second, keep an eye on the downtown intermodal commuter lot. Road work and the installation of stormwater drainage continues in the new lot, and the town warns of minor possible traffic impacts.

Finally, please remember that the Winter Street Bridge at Fountain Street is closed, and will remain so until late 2017 as it is knocked down and replaced. Until that time, a detour will be in effect and the town asks drivers to allow extra time for travel in the area and to pay attention to detour signs.
