Framingham Woman Dies In Accident Involving Stop & Shop Trailer, Police Say
Police are investigating a Tuesday night crash between a tractor-trailer and a car that left one person dead.
WINDHAM, CT — A Framingham woman is dead following a crash with a tractor-trailer in Windham, Connecticut, on Tuesday, according to state police.
A Stop & Shop tractor trailer was driving east on Boston Post Road near the intersection with Route 203 in Windham at 9:20 p.m. A Nissan Rogue was driving west on Boston Post Road and turning right.
The Nissan's driver lost control, causing the car to slide sideways across the double-yellow lines and into the path of the tractor-trailer, striking its front end.

The Nissan's driver, Jalene Brown, 23, of Framingham, died as a result of the crash, according to state police.
No one else was injured in the accident.

The road was closed for several hours overnight due to a fuel spill by Airport Road. The road reopened at about 4:30 a.m., according to FOX 61.
