Framingham's Bantam C1 Team Competing in State Tourney

The team will travel to Waltham for the Bantam Division IV State Championships this weekend. First game March 4 at 7:20 p.m.

The Framingham Bantam C1 Hockey Team is heading to Waltham this weekend to participate in the Bantam Division IV State Championship.

The team opens the playoffs on Friday, March 4 against Barnstable at 7:20 p.m.

Ranked #1 in the Banta, West American AA Valley League, the Framingham Bantam C1 team has a record of 31-5-1, under head coach Robert Weiner.

The Framingham team also has games on Saturday, March 5 at 6:50 a.m. against Waltham, and 4 p.m.

The semifinals are March 6 at 10:30 a.m and 11:40 a.m., with the finals at 5 p.m. on Sunday.

In net for Framingham is goalie Brad Woodhouse. Other members of the team are Thomas McKeown, Bradley Bogovich, Thomas Casale Paul Connaughton, Michael Dervin, Ivy Hannon, Tyler Hill, Jack Lanzillo, Lucas Marshall, Joseph Martell, 17 Antonio Mele, 16 Bradford Shapleigh, Brian Wheet, Anthony McGrann, and Tzali Nislick.

Assistant coaches are Craig Bogovich, Joe Casale and Bob Woodhouse.

The team manager is Sue McGrann.
