FRAMINGHAM, MA — The 2025-2026 season for Loring Arena is set to begin this weekend with a special event for residents.

The city's Parks and Recreation Department announced that Sunday would serve as the opening day for the city's ice rink. Stick time begins on Monday.

To celebrate, Loring will host a free public skate on Sunday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. The arena is located at 165 Fountain St.
