Funeral Thursday for Eva Stefanini, 94
Since 1929, when her father Giacomo founded Waverly Market in Framingham, she and her siblings helped grow the family business.

Eva Stefanini, 94, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died, Thursday, April 2, 2015, having lived a simple and faith filled life.
She was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Louisa (Cattani) Stefanini.
She was born, raised and lived her entire life in the family homestead.

Since 1929, when her father Giacomo founded Waverly Market in Framingham, Eva and her siblings helped grow the family business.
She was proud of her Italian heritage and considered herself blessed to have spent her entire life working with family. Over the years, Eva saw many wonderful changes to the market and embraced them all.

Until recently, she would be seen daily at Waverly Market ringing up the groceries for all the customers.
She had a deep faith in God and was an active parishioner at St. Tarcisius Church.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Angie (LaPenta) Stefanini, who also works at the market.
She was a dear aunt to Joseph, David, Stephen, Philip, Anita, Joe, John and the late James.
She also is survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family here and in Italy.
She was the loving sister of the late Stefano, Joseph, Frank and James.
It was her request not to have visiting hours, however, all are invited to St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Street, Framingham on Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m., to celebrate her funeral Mass.
Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
