Framingham Department of Public Works issued its weekly update on road construction in town and where to expect delays and detours.
There will be no capital construction activities on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23 due to Thanksgiving.

Concord Street at the northern intersection of “A” Street
Sewer main construction is being performed on Concord Street adjacent to the northern intersection of “A” Street. While construction is in progress, traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Click Here For Map)
Eaton Road/Eisenhower Road - Updated
Construction crews will begin to remove all temporary bypass piping and will begin construction of the Eaton Road Pumping Station. While construction is in progress, traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Construction activities are scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. (Click Here For Map)
Grant Street (Arthur Street to Hartford Street)/Hartford Street/Grant Street Ext./Gorman Road
Construction crews will continue to perform punch list items, including loaming and seeding. Please use caution and expect delays when travelling in this area. It may be necessary to reduce traffic patterns through the work zones to a lane alternating traffic management plan. Construction activities are schedule to take place daily between the hours of 7 am and 4 pm. (Click Here For Map)
Grant Street/Pond Street Area - Updated
Construction crews will continue working in various areas of Pond Street and Grant Street performing sidewalk and trench restoration. Please use caution and expect delays when travelling in this area. It may be necessary to reduce traffic patterns through the work zones to a lane alternating traffic management plan. Old Connecticut Path: Sewer main construction is being performed on Old Connecticut Path at the Cochituate Rail Trail. While construction is in progress, traffic will be managed through the work zone utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan. Prospect Street: Construction crews will be completing punch list items, loaming and seeding and there is a potential for the final installation of the pavement markings. Traffic will be managed utilizing a one lane alternating traffic management plan through the work zones, however it is anticipated that the installation of roadway markings will restrict traffic on Prospect Street to local traffic only and temporarily detoured traffic from entering Prospect Street at Worcester Road; travel on Prospect Street will be restricted to one way travel southbound from Central Street exiting on Worcester Road.
