Hemenway Road Detour

Framingham DPW has determined for public safety, Hemenway Road will remain closed and a detour will be in place until deep gravity sewer main construction is complete.

Due to depth of the trench, location of the work zone and concerns for public safety, Hemenway Road will remain closed and a detour will be in place until deep gravity sewer main construction is complete, said Framingham Department of Public Works today.

Traffic traveling northbound on Hemenway Road will be detoured at Eisenhower Road, from Eisenhower Road to Eaton Road, from Eaton Road to Woodside Road, from Woodside Road to Cider Mill Drive and from Cider Mill Drive to Raymond Road in Sudbury. 

Southbound traffic from Sudbury will be detoured from Raymond Road to Cider Mill Road, from Cider Mill Road to Woodside Road, from Woodside Road to Eaton Road, from Eaton Road to Eisenhower Road, from Eisenhower Road to Hemenway Road.

This detour is scheduled to remain in place while deep gravity sewer main construction is in progress and through the overnight, as the location of the work zone, depth of excavation and required support system will restrict traffic flow for public safety.
