It's Beginning To Look Like ... Road Construction Is Ending
Below is a list of road construction projects in Framingham by the Town, MassDOT, and utilities.

It’s mid-December, but there are still a handful of road construction projects in Framingham this week.
The unusually warm weather, is allowing the Town of Framingham and MassDOt to continue with some road work.
Below is where motorists may find detours or project, including some utility work too:

- DOWNTOWN FRAMINGHAM RECONSTRUCTION: Contractors continue to install traffic signals, street lights and wiring throughout the project. Pavement restoration continues as well. Expect delays and on-street parking restrictions in areas of construction.
- MAIN STREET ROADWAY: Contractors continue working on wastewater laterals and video inspections of the system. Traffic plans may include one-way alternating traffic. Expect traffic delays on affected roadways. Police details will be on-site to facilitate traffic.
- MAIN STREET SIDEWALK: The west side pedestrian sidewalk on Main Street just south of Route 9 will remain closed between High Street and Granite Street while the structural integrity of the aging stone wall is evaluated.
- ROUTE 9 BRIDGE OVER FOSS RESERVOIR OUTLET: Contractors are working on the southern section of the bridge. The westbound pedestrian sidewalk will remain closed. Expect moderate delays.
- SPEEN STREET: Eversource Gas is installing gas mains and services on Speen Street from Old Connecticut Path to Cochituate Road. Expect delays.
