Kick Off Framingham's 325th Year With Free Skating
Public skating at Loring Arena will be free on New Year's Day to mark the start of the city's 325th anniversary.

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham will celebrate its 325th anniversary in 2025.
The City of Framingham Mayor has established a 325th Celebration Committee made up of City residents to plan events all year long from January to December of 2025.

To kick off the celebration year, Mayor Charlie Sisitsky has waived the fee for public skating on January 1, 2025 at Loring Arena.
“Our 325th anniversary is a monumental occasion for Framingham, and we want to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to join in the celebrations. Waiving the skating fee is just the beginning of a year filled with exciting events and activities that reflect the spirit and history of our City,” said Mayor Charlie Sisitsky.

Come skate for free, with your own skates, from 10 a.m. to noon at Loring Arena, 165 Foundation Street.
Skate rentals, while supplies last, are $7 per person (cash only).
