Lacrosse Holds off UMass Dartmouth for 13-7 Victory

Framingham State University senior Zoe Reilly and junior Stephanie Leonard, a Framingham High product, combined for nine goals to lead the Rams to a 13-7 victory over the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Thursday evening in an NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse game on Cressy Field in Dartmouth.

Reilly turned in a balanced scoring effort with three goals and three assists to power Framingham State’s (6-2) attack.The senior also controlled a team-high four draws to give the visitors a slight 11-10 edge.

Leonard netted four of her six markers in the opening 30 minutes of action, while also scooping up a team-best four ground balls.

Junior Alysha Cericola earned the victory in net, making six stops.

The Rams are also back in action on Thursday when they entertain Becker College at 7 p.m.
