Legal Sea Foods Running National Lobster Day Special In Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Wednesday marks a special culinary holiday for New Englanders, as they can celebrate the last whisper of summer with National Lobster Day.

Legal Sea Foods, the Massachusetts-based restaurant chain, is honoring the day with a special one-day lobster promotion at all locations, except the restaurant at Boston Logan International Airport.

Local restaurants will feature a 1.25 lb. steamed Maine lobster dinner, served with corn and potatoes for just $25.

This is the first of the company's fall promotions, as the company will "celebrate its rich maritime heritage and long-standing partnership with family-run Scorton Creek Oysters and others by launching its Annual Oyster Festival, a month-long tribute to everything oyster."

"The Oyster Festival menu will highlight inventive dishes such as our Cajun Oyster Po’ Boy, Buffalo Fried Oysters, and the classic Oysters Rockefeller," restaurant officials said. "With an abundance of fresh oysters this season from all over the East Coast, restaurants will expand their Raw Bar selections, with up to six different oyster varieties each day."

Legal Sea Foods will also, for the first time, offer $1 oysters every Tuesday in October. The deal runs from open to close.
