The Marian High boys basketball team lost to Matignon High Friday night 53-40.It was a "very close game back and forth with Matignon pulling away during the last 4 minutes of the game as Marian had foul troubles," said head coach Raul Matos. Junior Captain Declan Walsh led the Mustangs with 20 pointJunior Andy Feng had 10 points. "Great team effort by all Marian players on the defensive side of the ball," said Coach Matos.Marian is still seeking its first win of the season, having dropped its first two games.Next up for Marian High is the Mustangs' home opener on Monday against Innovation Charter.
