MetroWest Medical Center Gives Grant to Callahan Center

The MetroWest Medical Center gave a grant to the Callahan Center in Framingham for its Parkinson's Support Group.

The Metrowest Medical Center made a $2,500 donation to the Callahan Center for its Parkinson’s Support Group, Framingham Town Manager Bob Halpin informed Framingham Selectmen.

“The new funding will be used to secure a co-facilitator who has medical and pharmacological background,” said Halpin. “This new skill set will be an excellent complement to the existing in-house professional social worker.”

“Together they will be able to provide a more comprehensive approach to education and support for individuals and families impacted by this disease,” said Halpin.
