The Owls improve to 2-1 (1-0 LEC) while the Rams fall to 0-3 (0-1 LEC).

Brouillette’s two unassisted goals sent the Owls to the half up 2-0 in an otherwise uneventful first half. Westfield sophomore Megan Evans found the back of the net early in the second stanza with Brouillette assisting on the goal.

The Rams rebounded when freshman Sydney Buono scored her first career goal with an assist from Meaghann Ackerman.

The Owls quickly responded when sophomore Rachel Testa scored the first of her two goals on the day.

The Owls outshot the Rams 14-6 and attempted 6 penalty corners to Framingham State’s 5.

The Rams will host Roger Williams on Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. in a makeup game that was originally scheduled for September 10.
