Performing Arts Center of MetroWest Presents Songs for a New World
Shows are Friday night, Dec. 4 and Saturday night, Dec. 5 at the Fay School in Southborough.

The musical Songs for a New World will be staged by the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest’s PAC Family Players on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fay School in Southborough.
This benefit performance is presented by PAC students and staff.
Songs for a New World is a whole collection of stories done in a cabaret style. The musical was written and composed by TONY Award winner Jason Robert Brown and features an exciting score that blends pop, gospel and jazz in tight harmonies with unique vocals.
Songs for a New World transports its audience from the deck of a Spanish sailing ship bound for a new land, to the ledge of a New York penthouse. Characters range from a young man in the Bronx who dreams of becoming a famous basketball player, to a forlorn and neglected Mrs. Claus lamenting as Christmas approaches.
