UPDATED: Swimmers Reported Missing in Learneds Pond Found Downtown by Police
Wednesday night fire and police rescue had boats in Learneds Pond looking for possibly a male and female swimmer. According to the Fire Department, Police located the teens about 2:30 a.m. downtown.

Two teens, who rescue crews thought might be in Learneds Pond, were discovered by Framingham Police downtown around 2:30 a.m., according to Framingham Fire.
and were at searching the water for a possible male and female swimmer Wednesday night into Thursday morning, according to Deputy Fire Chief Barbieri.

Police received a call shortly after 11 p.m. of two possible swimmers in Learneds Pond.
Rescue crews were in boats searching the pond for a while, but the boats were pulled out of the water just before 1 a.m. Divers never were in the water, said the deputy chief.

Initial scanner reports had the swimmers in the water.
Just after 1 a.m., a mother pulled up to the gate at Learneds Pond and walked down the beach area to pick up a teenage girl.
Reports have the two teens trying to escape from police when discovered on the beach after hours. There was the possibility they were in the water, thus the rescue operation. Police later discovered the two teens in downtown Framingham after 2:30 a.m.
No other information was available from police at this time.
About a month ago, , trying to avoid police who discovered him and friends trespassing on the beach.
Neighbors of Learneds Pond watched rescue crews search the pond last night.
One woman said she is tired of these late-night incidents at the pond and that regularly there are trespassers at the pond after hours.
