The Performing Arts Center of MetroWest will stage three performances of the musical Footloose this weekend.
The cast is comprised of two dozen students from Framingham and MetroWest in grades from elementary, middle, and high school.
The musical is based on the classic ‘80s movie staring Kevin Bacon.

Just in case you have never seen it, Ren McCormack moves from the city to a small town where the local government has banned dancing and rock music. He then leads his classmates around the law and Rev. Shaw Moore to have a real senior prom.
The musical is appropriate for families.

Shows are Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday nights at 7:30 at Dennison Memorial Hall at the Boston Church of Christ at 214 Concord Street in Framingham. There is also a matinee on Saturday, Sept 19 at 2 p.m.
Advance tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for youths and senior. All tickets will be $2 more at the door.
