Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis Nominee Sunny Named a Manufacturer of the Year

(Framingham) Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis and Rep. Natalie Higgins offered their sincere congratulations to their nominee, Ashland-owned Sunny, for receiving the 2025 Manufacturer of the Year award.

A statewide and national business leader in women’s health products, Sunny has revolutionized the period care space by inventing the Sunny Cup + Applicator, the first and only FDA 510k cleared reusable period cup and applicator that inserts like a tampon. The business is rooted in the belief that period care is a human right, and nobody should have to settle for unsafe, ineffective period care.

The award ceremony is part of Manufacturing Month in Massachusetts, during which the business community seeks to identify and celebrate local businesses at the Annual Manufacturing Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Massachusetts Legislative Manufacturing Caucus.

The Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Gillette Stadium.
