SLIDESHOW: Marian Mainstagers Bring Disney To Life This Weekend

The high school's theatre department will stage 3 performances of its Christmas in Disney: A Journey to the Past.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - Marian High School’s Mainstagers will perform three shows of its production Christmas in Disney: A Journey To the Past this weekend.

Opening night is tomorrow, Dec. 11 at 7:30.

The other shows are Saturday night, Dec. 12 at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon, Dec. 13. at 3 p.m. at the high school’s auditorium.

Tickets are available at the door at $10 each.

The cast takes the audience through the history of Disney in two acts.

The Mainstagers start with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1947, through the Song of the South in the 1940s and Cinderella and Peter Pan in the 1950s, to Mary Poppins in the 1960s, in the first act.

In the second act, production numbers include Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, & Mulan.

In addition to Marian High actors and actresses, there are several Saint Bridget School students in the cast too.

The fast-paced show is directed and staged by Stephen D. Flynn.

It features a beautiful Christmas-themed set, with gorgeous, colorful costumes.

Choreography by Kelly Upchurch Kozlowski.
