Innovation Charter School defeated the Marian High School boys basketball team Monday night.
Innovation Charter School defeated the Marian High School boys basketball team Monday night 67-56, in the Mustangs home opener.
It was a “back and forth game through the fourth quarter, where it was only a point differential,” said head coach Raul Matos. “Innovation Academy pulled out in the last two minutes to win the game.”
Strong performances in both defense and offense from junior Christian Dardompre and junior captain Declan Walsh both with 13 points, said Matos.

Senior Captain David Lackard had a good defensive performance, said Matos.
Next up for Marian is the high school’s annual Mustang Classic Tournament on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
