Sudbury Driver Charged in Head-On Edgell Road Crash
Both drivers - Sudbury man and Framingham woman - suffered life-threatening injuries, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

Sudbury Police were looking for a Sudbury man in a possible domestic issue, when he crashed his car head-on into a Framingham woman driving a Mercedes on Edgell Road on Sunday, according to Framingham Police.
The crash took place just after 1 p.m. on Sept. 20.
Both have life-threatening injuries, said Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin on Monday morning.

William Conti, 31, of Boston Post Road in Sudbury will be charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of narcotics (heroin), negligent operation ( a criminal offense) and failure to stay within marked lanes, said Lt. Cronin.
He was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital by medical helicopter from the crash scene. He had surgery for internal injuries. Conti, the father of two children with a third due later this year, also has head and neck injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, a Framingham woman, was transported by ambulance to Beth Israel Hospital.
Evelyn Woldman of Framingham had life-threatening injuries but was listed in stable condition on Monday morning. Lt. Cronin said. She suffered multiple broken bones and had internal injuries.
Emergency responders found Conti in his silver Nissan unresponsive and not wearing a seat belt.
First responders administered Narcan to the man on the scene.
Narcan is a drug used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, including respiratory depression.
Lt. Cronin said there were witnesses to the crash.
According to those on the scene, it appeared the driver of the silver Nissan crossed the median and struck the green Mercedes head-on.
Witnesses and residents of that neighborhood, said there were no skid marks on the road.
At one point, over the public police channel on the scanner, one emergency responders said “it appears to be an attempted suicide.”
Lt. Cronin said Sudbury Police were actively looking for Cronin in regards to a domestic incident earlier on Sunday.
