Team Framingham Boston Marathon Runners Sprints Past the $50,000 Mark

In two years, the 47 Team Framingham runners have raised more than $103,000 for local charities.

Team Framingham fundraising for six local charities has topped the $ 50,000 mark announced Framingham Board of Selectmen Vice Chair Mike Bower this weekend.

As of 4:30 p.m. on Friday April 17, Team Framingham’s 22 runners have raised $ 50,211.19 for local charities.

This is up $9,929.40 since last reported on Sunday April 12.

Since the inception of Team Framingham in 2014, the 47 runners from the 2014 and 2015 teams have raised a combined $103,783.54.

Individuals may make donations to the 2015 team through May 31, 2015.

The 2014 Team Framingham raised $53,572.35.

Team Framingham runners, corporate sponsors and charitable organization liaisons will be recognized at the start of the annual Town Meeting on Tuesday April 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Nevins Hall.
