To permit a safe working zone, a detour will be in place today, Sept. 10, on Main Street southbound only, according to Framingham DPW. Traffic will be detoured at Main Street onto Franklin Street to Mount Wayte Avenue back onto Union Avenue.Northbound traffic will not be detoured. This detour sothbound will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
