TRAFFIC ALERT: Serious Crash on Edgell Road; Road Closed

Motorists are advised to avoid Edgell Road, after two crashes within an hour.

Edgell Road is closed near 807, and there is a second crash near Nobscot Park.

The first report was of a serious car crash on Edgell Road in Framingham, involving two vehicles during the 1 p.m. hour on Sept. 20.

Witnesses report a silver vehicle crashes into a dark-colored Mercedes. The silver vehicle was totalled and an ambulance was needed for the driver of that vehicle. The driver of the Mercedes seemed uninjured, according to witnesses. At 2 p.m., the road is still closed, near that crash located at 807 Edgell Road.

A second crash was reported on Edgell Road after 2 p.m. near Nobscot Park. Police are on the scene and the road is at a stand still in both directions, according to Framingham Patch readers. One reader reported the cars are blocking both lanes of traffic.
