Warmer Temps, but Lots of Rain: Framingham's Weekend Forecast

Don the rain gear and enjoy the unseasonably warm temps late in the weekend. But watch for icy spots Saturday morning.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - After several days of wintry temperatures, the mercury is expected to climb this weekend.

And you were worried you’d have to actually cope with winter this year, right?

So the good news is a high in the 50s by Sunday; the bad news is that there’s also a lot of rain in the forecast so you might not be able to enjoy it as much as you’d like. Also, many areas will be affected by icy spots Saturday morning.

Here’s a look at the weekend weather forecast for Framingham, according to the National Weather Service:

Saturday: There’s a chance of showers in the morning and then drizzle after that. It will stay cloudy throughout the day with a high of 39. The shower chances increase again overnight, but the temp doesn’t move much. Expect a low of about 37.

Sunday: Bring on the warmth. The high Sunday is expected to reach the mid 50s, but rain is likely. There’s even a chance of a thunderstorm before 4 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.

Monday: Well, the sun reappears, but so do the cold temps. The high Monday will reach just to the mid-30s.
