Wilson IB School Staff To Be Honored at Salute To Framingham

The 24th Annual Salute to Framingham is scheduled for Thursday, March 31.

FRAMINGHAM, MA - The staff at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School will be honored on March 31 at the 24th Annual "Salute to Framingham" event for their years of hard work leading to the authorization of Woodrow Wilson becoming an International Baccalaureate School.

The staff has participated in extensive professional development to prepare them to implement the framework and is continually writing and revising their IB units for their respective grade levels.

IB promotes inquiry in the classroom and integrates the curriculum via the "transdisciplinary" themes that includes science, social studies, the arts, mathematics, English Language Arts, and physical education.

Wilson is one of only three IB elementary schools in Massachusetts authorized to teach the Primary Years Programme.
