Zumba, Fitness Fundraiser To Help Adults With Autism Saturday

Ann Saldi, who has twins who were diagnosed with Autism in 2006, recently started a non-profit organization to help find housing solutions for adults with Autism.
And on Saturday, Sept. 26 a fundraiser will be held at the Saxonville mill to help raise money for “No Place Like Home.”
“We are doing a 2-hour master class with Zumba, Broadway, Hip to Strip and Hip hip with an amazing guest instructor from England Dean Hodgkin,” said Ali Struyk, who is hosting the fundraiser.

All proceeds will go to the new non-profit, said Struyk, who owns AliKat Moves. The public is invited to attend.
“There are resources for kids with autism, but right now there is a housing gap for adults with autism, who can’t or aren’t living with their parents,” said Struyk who has a child with Autism.

After age 22, individuals with Autism, lose a lot of support and funding.
The cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The events if from 2 to 4 pm.
