5 Things You Need to Know Today: May 2

Our weekday morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations. 

Here are 5 things to know about election day.

1. Polls are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

2. Precincts 1, 2, 3 and 4 vote at , 105 Millbury St.

3. Five candidates are running for two seats on the Board of Selectmen: John Carlson, John Dowling, , Daniel Pogorzelski and Bruce Spinney.

4. Eight other races are uncontested. They are: Town Moderator, School Committee, Planning Board (3 and 2 years), Board of Library Trustees (3 and 1 year) and Grafton Housing Authority (5 and 2 years.) 

5. Weather should not be problem, with a mix of sun and clouds, high 63, low 43. 

So get out and vote!
