A Lesson in Living History

A class is scheduled to train historical guides.

The will hold a museum guide orientation class at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Historical Society museum at 1 Grafton Common.

Museum guides, also referred to as volunteer docents, lead educational tours through the exhibits and artifacts at the museum.

Museum docents enjoy working with people of diverse interests, backgrounds, and ages. They are trained to be able to conduct tours with flexibility, and a willingness to accept new challenges.
