Building Department Extends Hours

is offering extended hours on Tuesdays to accommodate the schedules of contractors, homeowners and the general public.

From July 19 through September, the office will remain open until 7 p.m. Tuesdays.

Building permit applications will be accepted and preliminary review sessions will be available. At a public information session late last year, concerns were raised about the accessibility and speed of the building department procedures. 

During these extended Tuesday hours, the public can also learn about new building code changes.
