The Common. You can chill there, attend cultural events or just drive by and read the signs for upcoming events.

Listening for the time. The clock at the at 3 Grafton Common rings on the hour, a charming tradition that beats any IPhone alarm.

Having great coffee for $1: has fresh coffee in a variety of flavors and all sizes are $1. Their pastries and sandwiches rock, too. (Alas, we have to go some days without it, they are on vacation this week.) 

Reading the signs: There is some controversy about the electronic signs on Worcester Street but they give you the temperature, time, lawn and insurance tips and lots of great community event information.

Getting a good laugh. The sign outside is good for that. They recently said they had no beans on the menu that day because Whitey Bulger spilled them.
