Goals: Communication, Customer Service
Tentative goals are set for Town Administrator.

Town Administrator Timothy McInerney should work on improving customer service, attracting businesses to town and increasing shared services between the town and the schools.
Those were among the tentative goals set Tuesday, June 21 by the Board of Selectmen for the town administrator, who received a favorable review at a recent meeting.
The goal-setting followed the review process.

The goals are:
Economic development: Assist Economic Development Commission in marketing Grafton to businesses, with special focus on Centech Park

Customer service: Increase public access to senior administration.
Long-term planning/Vision statement: Develop a visioning process for town, work to develop a vision and mission statement.
Organizational development: Study delivery of human resources and present recommendations to the board on staffing needs, associated costs and risks.
Shared services: Coordinate with the School Department to develop a shared resource plan on appropriate areas, such as IT support, phones and maintenance.
Financial management: Provide quarterly updates and capital budgets to the board.
Communication: Update selectmen with timely and complete written summary of the week’s townwide activities.
Selectmen and McInerney will discuss the issue further at the July 5 meeting.
