
Two arrests have resulted from an ongoing investigation by and detectives from the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force into illegal distribution of cocaine.
The main suspect in this case had been previously identified as Pedro Connors of Worcester, police said. Task force detectives had purchased cocaine from Connors on two separate occasions in Grafton, police said.
At about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, an undercover officer placed a call to Connors via cell phone requesting to purchase cocaine, police said. Connors agreed to meet the undercover officer at a pre-determined location in Grafton, police said.

A short time later, Connors arrived at the designated location in a vehicle operated by another subject, later identified as Francisco Montalvo, and met the undercover officer to complete the sale of cocaine, police said.Â
Once the transaction was made, nearby officers conducting surveillance quickly moved in and placed both subjects under arrest. Â

They were then transported to the Grafton Police Department and charged as follows:
Pedro Connors, 33, of 60 Chatham St., Worcester was charged with three counts each of distrubution of a Class B drug, cocaine, possession of a Class B drug, cocaine – subsequent offenses and possession with intent to distribute Class B drug, cocaine.
Francisco Montalvo, 25, of 21 Preston St., Worcester was charged with dstribution of a Class B drug, cocaine and conspiracy to violate drug laws.Â
Montalvo’s vehicle was also seized for possible forfeiture pending review with the District Attorney's Asset Forfeiture Unit.
Connors and Montalvo were scheduled to appear today in Westborough District Court.

Grafton officers involved in the investigation were Detective William Kuck, Officer Liam O’Rourke and Lieutenant Wayne Tripp.
