Full-Day Kindergarten Eyed in 2013
School officials suggest waiting until other transitions are complete.

Full-day kindergaten will likely be implemented no sooner than September 2013, Superintendent of Schools Joseph Connors told the School Committee Monday night.
Connors said it would be "prudent to wait'' until the first year at the new Grafton High School ends. That same year, grades will be realigned and the current high school will be used for middle school students.
The financial and logistical challenges of making those changes and adding a full-day kindergarten would be significant, assistant superintendent of schools Lucille Boutiette said.
