Grafton Update was a pioneer in local cable access in Massachusetts and the pre-taped show covered a variety of topics from candidates’ debates to how to attend a town meeting to fire safety information.

Recent health concerns had limited the amount of time that Gallagher, a retired U.S. Social Security official, could devote to Grafton Community Television.

Gallagher will be a regular cast member of “Ask the Geezers” along with the show's on-air personalities Pete Million and GCTV producers Bob DeToma and Rick Schultz. The program is noted for its creative set design and for its slogan, “Ask the Geezers anything, you may not get a correct answer, but you will get an answer."

The program airs live at 8 p.m. every other Thursday evening on Charter Channel 11 / Verizon Channel 34 and is rebroadcast at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“I am so excited that my health is allowing me to return to Grafton Public Access Television on a regular basis,'' Gallagher said in a prepared statement. "Being asked to join the 'Geezers' means that I have been fortunate, and those blessings just keep on coming.”

Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Monthly schedules for Grafton Community Television Channels can be found at www.GraftonTV.org.
