Representatives from the search committee, which vetted candidates and chose Mannion as the single finalist, will go on a site visit to the Florence Sawyer School in Bolton this week. Mannion will visit the Grafton school district May 1.

An announcement regarding the hiring for this position will be made next week, Cummings has announced.

With one principal's arrival apparently imminent, another assistant prinicipal is leaving the system.

Jennifer Sauter, assistant principal, was recently selected to become the principal of the Leicester Middle School for the upcoming school year.

Leicester is fortunate to gain the leadership skills that Sauter possesses, Cummings said. She will begin her new role on July 1.

She will be greatly missed in Grafton, Cummings said.
