Green was the color of the evening when hosted an evening April 7 dedicated to energy awareness.
Students and their families made bird feeders from recycled material, took rides on plasma vehicles and learned about local farmers’ markets and other earth-friendly events and activities.
They also had the chance to start their own gardens and learn about composting. Free energy-saving light bulbs were distributed.
