Grafton 9/11 Ceremony Offers Reminder To Thank First Responders

"Say thank you to first responders for their courage and sacrifice."

GRAFTON, MA β€” During the 9/11 Remembrance ceremony in Grafton on Saturday, State Rep. David Muradian presented the fire department with a Proclamation from Gov. Charles Baker.

Baker proclaims that Sept. 11, 2021 be "9/11 Remembrance Day."

Chris Padasaris of Grafton brought his two young sons to the ceremony.

"I wanted to be part of it and be supportive of the community," Padasaris said. "I want to share the history with my family."

Muradian said along with remembering 9/11 to remember Sept. 12.

"Remember what 20 years ago meant to everyone on 9/11, but on 9/12 is when people showed courtesy and kindness to each other," he said.
