Grafton Community Television Holds Christmas Open House

GRAFTON, MA - Grafton Community Television and Charter Communications welcomes everyone to its Christmas open house on Sunday afternoon, December 4th from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 PM. Come visit the Grafton's cable public access TV facilities and enjoy special holiday refreshments. This event takes place at the Grafton Community Television studios located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.

At part of the open house, GCTV offers Grafton families the opportunity to make a video holiday message for their loved ones and especially for those relatives in the armed forces. The GCTV annual "Military Message" program assists any Grafton family who would like to send a little bit of Grafton to their active duty family members.

According to Kris McMullin, Grafton's Public Access Coordinator, "Residents should bring a flash drive to have their videos transferred. If they do not have a flash drive, a DVD can be given but no guarantee that the DVD will be ready the same day. Residents may have to return to the studio to pick up their DVD. Please allow a 5 minute limit for each visitor so there is adequate time for video processing of files."

Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Charter Channel 191 / Verizon Channel 34 provides general interest programming, Charter Channel 192 / Verizon Channel 33 broadcasts town government programming, and Charter Channel 194 / Verizon Channel 32 features school programming and high school sports events. The Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
